Open Show : 20 March 2016

I was honoured to be invited to judge this show and I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of Scottish Toydog Society for inviting me to judge and also for the wonderful hospitality shown to me during the day. Finally, I would like to thank all exhibitors for entering.

Best In Show: Ashton’s Tangetoppens Take A Hint (Pug)
Absolutely adored this dog. Square, cobby and well muscled. Head is large and round with large dark eyes full and wide open nostrils. Short body with required broad chest well sprung ribs with an excellent level topline. Excelled in movement whilst maintaining a slight roll – he is all Pug and he knows it! Demanded Best in Show and I could not deny him.
Res Best in Show:   Easdon & Martin’s Yakee Xceedingly Xcited (Pekingese)
Another top drawer exhibit with an excellent, masculine head and expression with strong underjaw. Great bone and substance under his beautifully presented puppy coat, when picking him up, he is solidly made.  Overall balanced puppy with a clearly defined waist, creating a pleasing shape. Moved very well. Elighted to award him Best Puppy in Show also.
